|The Junior School is made up of four classes going from Year 3 to Year 6 . The curriculum follows broadly the requirements of the National Curriculum. Mrs Cook is our Year 4 teacher and her class is based on the third floor of the main Georgian building. The class is spacious and comfortable with extensive displays of the chidlren's work. Each classroom has its own interactive whiteboard and computer. Children have specialist teachers for Music, ICT,French, PE and Games. We also have a number of specialist rooms including a large Art and Design room, Music room with practice facilities, ICT suite and a spacious modern Sports Hall with changing rooms.|
Educational outings and visiting speakers form an integral part of the curriculum Year 4 look forward to Mr Evans visit with hands on electricity experiments and their habitat day out. There are a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and activities available to pupils throughout the week, both during the day and after school.
Children are encouraged to take on more responsibility as they move through the school and part of this is ensuring they have an active say in their school. Children are represented on the School Council by elected children from their classes, they meet regularly to discuss opportunities they would like to see developed in school as well as looking at what they can do for others such as local charities.
