“Extra-curricular provision is outstanding in accordance with the school’s aims and ethos of encouraging all pupils to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.”
ISI Inspection Report 2011
Life at Ayscoughfee Hall School is packed full of opportunities and the chance for each and every pupil to find their hidden talents. Whether your son or daughter has a flair for football, gymnastics, journalism, art or computer skills we will find their talent and nurture and develop it to its full potential. Our extensive extra-curricular programme offers nearly 30 clubs a term, which take place during lunchtimes and after school.
Clubs play an important role in enriching the school curriculum. By offering extra school activities our children get the chance to succeed in a different area and this boosts their self-confidence. We believe that happy, self-confident children are motivated and can achieve more academically.
There is no additional charge for clubs unless we are using a specialist provider e.g. Elite for Cheerleading. Activities are offered to children from Reception onwards. Parents are sent a list of clubs and then sign up online.
Please see the attachment below for our Autumn term programme of extra-curricular clubs. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have had to reduce the number of clubs on our timetable.
