Reception Class have been busy learning about Chinese New Year this week. Along with our Kindergarten class they learnt and performed a song and enjoyed finding out about the Great Race. In drawing club, they designed and made their own mystical dragons to help celebrate the New Year of the Dragon.

The children were shown how to use chop sticks and developed their fine motor skills by using them to pick up pom poms. We finished our celebrations with a tasty Chinese meal of special celebration food. Thank you to Mr Law from the Crystal Inn for providing the children and teachers with the surprise meal.
