Today, in our final Celebration Assembly of the academic year we said a fond farewell to our Kindergarten teacher Mrs Strickson, who has taught at the school for 24 years and is a highly respected and much-loved member of our staff. Mrs Strickson has nurtured our youngest children from the very first time they walked through our big red doors and gave them such a wonderful start to primary school life. Many of the children have so many fond memories of their time in Kindergarten, and we have enjoyed recounting some of the funnier stories over recent weeks!

I know you will all join me in wishing Mrs Strickson a long and happy retirement.
