Random Acts Of Kindness
In school this week we have been celebrating ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ week. We started on Monday with an assembly about the idea of ‘paying forward’ acts of kindness and thinking of ways that we could carry out kind acts during the week. As usual, our children have shown an exceptional ability to think of others and be kind to everyone. I have seen many random acts over the past five days and have been awarding stickers to individuals as I walk around school. On Wednesday, staff were surprised (and delighted) to find that Year 6 had left us each a chocolate bar and special note for our staff meeting – thank you so much for this year 6. In appreciation of the many acts of kindness staff have experienced this week, we decided to ‘pay forward’ some kindness of our own and rewarded the whole school with an extra ten minutes of playtime today.
