We were delighted to welcome back Sunita into school this week to lead an 'Indian Experience Day' as part of our Year 6 terms topic. The children were treated to a re-telling of the story of Rama and Sita where they joined in with actions and then they were led to the hall for Indian dance. The children all dressed up in beautiful Indian clothing and jewellery before joining in enthusiastically with the new dance moves. Having learnt all about the Hindu faith, the children then went on to sample some Indian food and created their own amazing Rangoli art patterns. Thank you Sunita for providing the children with such an insightful day into Indian culture.
