A warm welcome back to our year 5 and 6 children today from their four day residential trip to Hilltop Outdoor Centre in Sheringham. They had a fantastic time and didn’t let the wet weather deter them from taking part in the adventurous activities the centre had planned for them living up to the Hilltop moto - 'Challenge by Choice'. The children enjoyed bush craft skills including shelter building and fire making, whizzing down zip wires, abseiling, climbing, archery, a tree top challenge and a nice walk into Sheringham over to Beeston Bump to enjoy some delicious ice creams to name just a few of them! Taking part in a residential trip is invaluable for children to discover what they are truly capable of not just by taking part in activities that take them out of their comfort zone but staying away from home and working as a team to encourage each other and the teachers to achieve great things. Not forgetting of course the lifelong memories they make!
