We had a fabulous day celebrating World Book Day at Ayscoughfee Hall School! It was fantastic to see so many amazing characters walking through our doors. The children looked absolutely incredible in their costumes.

The day was full of exciting activities. We welcomed guest readers, enjoyed fun quizzes and took part in a variety of book related challenges. Each class was also given a new book to enjoy together, adding to the excitement of the day.

In Early Years, there was even a thrilling mystery, “Who stole the books,” which had the children hunting for clues, solving riddles and discovering that the culprit was none other than The Gruffalo!

It was wonderful to see the children completely immersed in the fabulous world of books, exploring stories, sharing ideas and celebrating their love of reading.

Well done to everyone for making World Book Day such a memorable and magical experience!
