Every Friday, our school comes together for a special Success Assembly—a time to reflect, celebrate and recognise the wonderful things happening across our classrooms, as well as individual achievements outside of school. One of the highlights of this assembly is the presentation of our Kindness Award and Star of the Week Award.

The Kindness Award is presented by our Year 6 Kindness Ambassadors. It is given to a pupil, member of staff, or group of individuals who have shown exceptional care, compassion and thoughtfulness towards others—whether it’s offering a helping hand, sharing a smile, or being a good friend. This award celebrates the heart behind these actions and encourages kind behaviour from our children—a key value of the school.

The Star of the Week Award recognises a student who has gone above and beyond in their learning, behaviour, or attitude during the week. It could be for making great progress, showing resilience, or setting a positive example for others.

This week, we had an extra special moment to celebrate—a young learner from Kindergarten was awarded both the Kindness Award and Star of the Week! What a little superstar!

These awards are a lovely reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness and everyday achievements make a big difference in our school community. Well done to all of our award winners—you continue to make our school a kind, caring and inspiring place to learn and grow.
