This term our Year 6 children have been learning all about the Arctic and life as an explorer. On Friday they came dressed ready for an Arctic exploration. They made models of food chains, investigating how explorers eat and train for expeditions and have been looking at how to insulate in order to retain warmth. Whilst wearing thick gloves, they worked as a team to quickly put up a tent – not as easy as it looks! Throughout the day the children proved they would be excellent team members in any expedition, as they all worked so hard to support each other to achieve their aims.
