Year 3 Outing to Peterborough Museum
Year 3 had a great time at the Peterborough Museum learning about the Roman Invasion of Britannia and the founding of the City of Durobricae (Peteroborugh). They put on a marvellous feast for a Roman Legate, complete with a two course dinner that the children had to source the ingredients for, they dressed each other in togas and planned the entertainment for the evening. The children also created clay faces to decorate the jugs and handled real Roman artefacts.
