A rare sunny afternoon greeted the players as they took to the field for their match.

For the Year 6 boys, this was their final game together, and they displayed excellent control and teamwork throughout the match. They linked up their play brilliantly, working together to dominate the game. Although the Peterborough team had a few strong attempts, they were unable to score, resulting in an Ayscoughfee win.

The Year 5 team faced a tougher challenge from Peterborough’s A team. The game remained close through the first half, with Peterborough leading. Despite facing intense pressure in the third quarter, our Year 5s rallied, keeping their heads up and competing hard to the final whistle. Though the final score didn’t reflect the effort, the team demonstrated tremendous resilience. The Peterborough team played well, showing great sportsmanship and determination throughout.
