U9 Netball Festival At St Hugh's School
Our U9 children took part in St Hugh’s netball festival on Wednesday 24th January. They played six other teams in Stinger Netball, which is a five a-side game, rotating into different positions. The festival is designed to encourage maximum participation, so lots of matches against different schools and involves a lot of coaching games, learning through match play. It also encourages England Netball’s core values, Respect, Good Sportsmanship, High Standards of Behaviour and Ethics. I can certainly say with confidence that our children demonstrated all of these in abundance.
Well done to all the children, they played some lovely fluent netball, really progressing throughout the afternoon.
