Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Flag Fen. We explored how people lived during the Stone Age and Bronze Age, discovered what they ate, how they built and decorated their homes and the tools they used in daily life. One of the highlights was seeing the prehistoric boats preserved in the cold storage fridge along with the extraordinary remains of the Bronze Age causeway that once connected the settlements across the fen. We also had the chance to handle real artefacts which helped us imagine what life must have been like thousands of years ago.
