World Ocean Day
On Thursday 8th June the school celebrated World Ocean Day. Continuing with our campaign against single use plastics the children and staff supported the day by wearing blue and brought in a £1 coin which they placed on a chalk wave drawn on the playground. The Reception children joined a live assembly and saw surfers in Bristol and in Portugal, before their surf lesson with Pazzy Pongo! Next the children sang a song about turtles and made a delicious fruity turtle for snack.
We raised a fantastic £132.00 on the day which will help to clean up our oceans!
