Facilities

Ayscoughfee Hall School was founded in 1920 and, as a private preparatory school, has been administered by a Charitable Trust since 1958.Our home has been Welland Hall since 1993, a large, Grade II listed building set in its own grounds, adjacent to the picturesque River Welland, which runs through the centre of Spalding  since September 1993.Welland Hall provides spacious accommodation with wonderful, light, airy and safe classrooms.

The accommodation has been sympathetically extended and enhanced in recent years with the addition of a spacious Assembly/Sporting Hall with changing rooms together with new classroom and cloakroom areas. A specialist music room with adjacent practice facilities has also been added.

Other special areas include a well stocked library created by the pupils, quiet reading areas, large Art and Design room,French room,Music and practice rooms. We also have a well equipped ICT suite with enough computers for each child to have their own computer to work on in the lesson.

In addition we have outdoor facilities to develop our sports' coverage for all children. The building and the environment have been planned to stimulate and enhance the children's interest in learning.

We have recently added a cookery room and all children have cookery lessons as part of the curriculum.
