We are extremely proud of one of our Year 6 pupils who has been awarded a Highly Commended certificate in the KS2 Category of the National Independent Schools Association Music Composition Competition 2021. P composed music and lyrics for AHS centenary celebrations. She sang and played the piano to her composition.

The ISA spoke highly of P’s entry stating “A beautifully handwritten score and excellent performance. This piece clearly captures the spirit of the occasion in both the music and text written, and has clear structure, demonstrates harmonic understanding and excellent phrasing”.
