Yesterday, we hosted our Annual Cross Country Event at the Grammar School fields, welcoming teams from St Hugh’s, The Grantham Prep and The Peterborough School.

Pupils competed across four races in the U9 and U11 age groups, with strong runners and excellent performances from all schools.

We were thrilled to see fantastic results for Ayscoughfee Hall School. NH secured a 🥉 bronze medal in the U9 boys race and a series of great individual performances from the team meant the U9 boys were crowned overall team winners, bringing home the first-place trophy 🏆.

Many of our runners were competing below their age group, gaining valuable experience ahead of next year. A big well done to all our runners for their determination and sportsmanship! 👏

We would like to thank Miss Lawniczak and Mr Hutton for organising such a fantastic event. Thanks also go to our Year 6 marshals, who did an incredible job helping the afternoon run smoothly and to all the staff and adult helpers for their support.
