Year 3 took to the stage last week to deliver a truly wonderful class assembly for parents, bringing the dramatic world of the Romans and Celts in Britannia to life.

The children confidently presented their learning, sharing fascinating facts about how the Romans invaded Britain, how the Celts lived and how life changed after the Roman Empire arrived on British shores.

Every child played their part beautifully. They worked incredibly hard to practise their lines and performances. Their confidence, clear speaking voices and teamwork made us immensely proud.

This term, all year groups have been working towards presenting their own assemblies. We have already enjoyed some lovely assemblies from our older year groups and are now looking forward to seeing our infant classes take to the stage in the weeks to come.
