Our children have been busy in the kitchen this week, taking part in their very first cookery lesson of the term. With great excitement and plenty of concentration, they measured, mixed, rolled and carefully created their own tasty pizza pinwheels.

Cookery is an important part of our curriculum, giving children the chance to develop practical life skills, independence and confidence – all while having fun. The cookery room was soon filled with the wonderful aroma of baking and the happy chatter of children working together. It was fantastic to see how well they followed instructions, supported one another and took pride in their creations.

Well done, children – your pizza pinwheels looked absolutely delicious!
