The role of the P.T.A.

         The School P.T.A. meet 6 times a year. We organise a wide variety of social events

: Disco's, Xmas Ball,Quiz Night, Summer Fete, Bingo to name but a few.

We also provide tea's for after school sporting fixtures as well as serving refreshments at

 assemblies.We round the year off with a year 6 leavers lunch for pupils, their parents

 and the staff ,to say thank you for the support. Our main aim is to raise additional funds to

 buy items which will benefit the children within the school environment. In the past we have

 supplied the school with extra outdoor and indoor  equipment. The P.T.A. provides  a fantastic

 opportunity for parents to become involved in the social network  that thrives within our school

 and ensures a wonderful community spirit and warm friendly atmosphere.

 Please help us to keep the spirit alive by joining us in our functions and those of you have time

to spare we always welcome new members at our annual AGM(to be held in the Autumn term)

At Ayscoughfee, we are very lucky to be supported by an extremely active PTA, which assists in the provision of equipment and furnishings for the school via fund raising activities.

However, the PTA also performs an even more important task of helping to cement the relationship which parents share with the school. This is achieved as a result of meeting each other and staff at numerous social events. Any new parents are quickly welcomed to the "Ayscoughfee family" and encouraged, but not forced to become involved in the life of the school.
