Inspection Reports
“Pupils are happy, confident and proud of their school. They are strongly motivated to learn and keen to take part in all activities.”
ISA Inspection Report
We are delighted with the results of our most recent Independent Schools Inspection which took place in September 2021. The inspection was a very thorough process focussing on two main areas, Regulatory Compliance and Educational Quality. The school was found to be 'Excellent' in all areas and fully compliant with all areas of the regulation.
The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is the body approved by the Department for Education for the purpose of inspecting schools belonging to the Independent Schools Council and the award of 'Excellent' is the highest possible grade given.
During their time at the school, the Inspectors watched lessons across all year groups and all subjects, as well as spending time speaking with children and staff. The attainment of pupils of all ages and abilities was found to be excellent and well above average for their age.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and so pleased that the ISI has recognised what we have long known, that Ayscoughfee Hall School is a special place to learn where our pupils respond to our values and ethos founded on respect for, and kindness to, others.
